I recently spent a lot of time on rewriting and editing hue-plus, a project of mine which allows you to control NZXT Hue+ LEDs on Linux. And I’ve just added a new mode and extended it to Windows.

So what I did was I added a new mode that I call audio_level. What it does is it checks the level of the volume continuously and updates the LEDs to match the level, so you have realtime change of the LEDs synced to audio.

What I’m currently working on is porting it to Windows so that people who don’t like or need CAM can have a nice and lean alternative. All I need to do is find a way to make a nice exe that installs everything for you, which is harder than it looks. I may just make a bat file that executes pip and have them install python, but I want it to be as easy as possible.
